Cast and Crew Bios
Louis Altman (he/him) (The Writer) is a versatile actor who performs in theater, film, and commercials. Some previous theatre credits include: Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Wayne Theatre), u/s (Perf.) Young Scrooge, Fundraiser, and Old Joe in A Christmas Carol (American Shakespeare Center), Touchstone in As You Like It (Mary Baldwin Shakespeare and Performance), the J. Finch track in Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (Silver Line Theatre Exchange), Simon in Hay Fever (Oak Grove Theater), Prince Charming in Cinderella (Kuumba Player’s Theatre Troupe), and Adonis in Cupid & Psyche (Mary Baldwin University) . He is a warm and bubbly person who prides himself on his professionalism and work ethic. He loves playing basketball, meeting new people, and exploring nature.
Garner Coiner (Actor One) is a 19-year-old who is currently enrolled at Blue Ridge Community College. He has been acting for several years now, playing roles such as Traft’s Man in Hattie Big Sky, and J. Finch in Puffs. Garner is excited to be a part of The Good Doctor at Oak Grove, and looks forward to working with Justin Guidroz and the other actors to bring the show to the stage this Summer.
Andy West (Actor Two) is excited to be performing at Oak Grove again! He has previously been seen at the Grove in 45 Seconds from Broadway, Clue, The Real Inspector Hound, and The Book of Will. He has also been seen in Miracle on 34th Street, The Outsider, and The Game’s Afoot, and been unseen assisting with stage managing and crew in multiple other productions.
Meg Dearborn (Actor Three) is excited to be making her debut at Oak Grove Theatre in The Good Doctor. She has previously preformed in Maine at the Waterville Opera House as Countess Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express and Waitress 1 in Rock of Ages. When not on stage, Meg enjoys dancing, singing, and spending time with her three dogs and two cats. She is thrilled to bring these memorable characters to life and thanks the team at Oak Grove for their hard work
Lainie Mabbitt (Actor Four) is happy to be back at Oak Grove Theater as Actor 4 in The Good Doctor. Previous roles include Celia (Calendar Girls), Maggie (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Brook (Noises Off), and Daria (Holmes for the Holidays). Offstage, Lainie is an HR consultant, executive coach, artist, and a community volunteer. When she’s not fostering dogs or leading The Staunton Magnificent Women, Lainie can be found delivering dramatic performances each time she loses her darn car keys. Justin Guidroz (Director) is excited to return to Oak Grove after last appearing in The Hollow in 2019. A graduate of Mary Baldwin, and founder of *NU* Productions, his most recent directing credits include The Delta Princes for the Waterworks festival at Live Arts, Peter and the Starcatcher with Friendly City Players at Court Square Theatre, Verbatim Verboten at SolArt Center in Staunton, No Words with *NU* Productions in Staunton, and The Wolves at Mary Baldwin University.
